[average 119.3 of 231938 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: I was drawn into this strange little (or maybe not-so-little) hobby when my friend Martin (Damn your eyes!) showed me jhfong's Pikadiator video in late 2004. Since then I've produced 5 AMV's (as you can see) and I've got plans for more. I don't use a whole lot of special effects in my videos, but I use quality sources and I put a LOT of time into choosing clips and synching visual cuts/beats with musical beats.
Opinions are always welcome, particularly if there's something I can improve - though I'm not asking for you to trash my work. Maybe just trash a part of it, ok?
Technical Note: I compress my videos with the XVid codec, so make sure you've got the right codec installed to play them - it's pretty easy to find. Also, I've gotten a few comments that there's no audio on my Ryoko and Haibane videos - there is. It seems to be limited to specific OS's (like Windows 98) and have something to do with the fact that I used a newer version of VDubMod for those two videos. I've since gone back to the old version, which now works fine for everyone (as far as I can tell). One trick which works (at least for some people) - try clicking forward a few seconds in the video rather than just hitting "play" and the audio should come in. Not perfect, but it works.
