- Profile: After I saw Kevin Caldwell's "Engel" for the first time, I think the seeds of Anime Music Video creation had been planted within me. I made three videos in winter of 2001, and then stopped completely after a negative review from a respected AMV author who attented the convention I submitted to. What he said was valid, and I was easily discouraged.
I didn't think about doing music videos again until I decided to make a music video out of the Megatokyo webcomic (www.megatokyo.com) late in 2001. I released a version of it to the Megatokyo art forum for some c&c. It wasn't polished, so I didn't want to release it, but I felt too down to work on it, so it sat until April 2002, when I did a couple of subtractions to improve the flow.
I'm 21 years old. I live not too far from Seattle and take classes at Bellevue Community College.
I haven't made an AMV in a long time and don't plan to any time in the near future. I have done some 'music videos' of Battlefield 1942 footage. My favorite one of the bunch has a plot and was created with a bunch of folks from bf1942.BattleForEurope.com. It is available at http://bf1942files.com/file.info?ID=11308.
Peace!
[November, 2003 Update: I'm 22 and take Yoga classes at Ananda of Seattle! I haven't watched anime in quite some time and don't even plan to in the future. But I'm uploading my videos in case someone wants to watch them. -- I made a mistake uploading Photon and accidentally confirmed it, so it won't work. If you want to see it, give me an email. You might also try searching Hotline servers for it.]
