Well i first got into amv's when i saw some of the stuff that Castor Troy had back when GGG, his website, was up and well. His ealy works made me want to do something that combined 2 things that I love, which is anime (more like animation as a whole) and music into something extraordinary. After downloading all of his works, i started asking around and later found amv.org :) And what a shocker it was, finding out that there were actually competitions for them!!! That was like a "OMFG, you can't be serious!!!". I guess that is how it all began for me ^_^
I am very happy to be in this kind of community where people can express themselves not only verbally (well more like text from chatting online) but also through their own works of what I would most certainly call art. I have always been fond of music ever since I started taking piano and I truly believe that amvs allow each and all of us to express ourselves in our own way.
