- Profile: Hey everyone, my name is Vanessa and I'm a video editor in New York City. I graduated with an Associates Degree in Multimedia Video and Post Production, which means that I know how to build websites, create Flash sites, know how to make motion graphics, and lastly edit videos using Avid and other useful editing programs. Just recently I finished a workshop at New York Film Academy. I learned more about Final Cut Pro and After Effects and now I applied it to my current videos.
Anyway I started watching anime since 1996, in other words that's the time when I was introduced to the world of anime by seeing Sailormoon and Dragonball Z. Good times...oh! and also know how to learn using the computer, which includes research as well. I was young and naive what else can I say. From that year forward I pretty much love the original stuff from Japan and hate the English dub and you can tell why except if you want to make a spoof out of it. *cough*Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series*cough*
Afterwards, I found this site and checked out so many videos that were really attractive and creative which made me want to do a video as well. From there I learned many effects, different programs, and especially all types of series. I guess the editors that inspire me the most are Ermac, Koopistank(sp?), Heisn Lee, Premonition Studios, Atom X, and a whole lot of veteran editors that most people know when they come here.
Anyways, below you'll see my early videos and my most recent video. Enjoy!
