Started making videos in December 2001, influenced by AMV's I found on Kazaz. A big fan of the Final Fantasy Series, especially FFVIII, I decided to make my first video with my favorite band, Incubus. My first video was FFVIII - Incubus - Familiar, which premiered on Kazaa on 01 January 2002. This was also my first attempt at editing video on a computer. Soon after making that video, I figured out how to get video files straight from the game discs, and my videos progressed thusly. My second video was FFIX - System of a Down - Chop Suey!. The theme of the death of angels inspired me to work with this video as a tribute to the rise and fall of the eidelon Alexander, and the last attempt of the silver dragons to stop the heroes.
For a long time I stopped making videos, but then summer came along. Riding on the back of Summer was Boredom. And it hit hard. So I sat down and decided to make another video. This time I made a tribute to Bahamut, to the music of Brain Stew - Greenday (the version from the Godzilla Soundtrack, for obvious reasons.) A bit of lip synching on the roars, and a couple of explosions make this one a fun one to watch. A couple days after that premiered, I was bored again, so I decided to whip up a short video. The White Stripes provided me with a good short song, Fell in Love with a Girl. A tribute to Zidane and Garnet's love, fast-paced and fun to watch.
About two days later, I decided I'd made enough FFIX videos, and that I NEEDED to make a FFVIII video, since it is my favorite game. Again, by pure chance, I turned to Incubus for the music. The video for Vitamin was intended to be a tribute to the destructive forces in FFVIII, such as Lunatic Pandora, the Sorceresses, Igions, Galbadian Hostilities, and my personal favorite, Lunar Cry.
