- Profile: I love Squaresoft. They get a bad rap from some people due to the fact that they'll take one idea and repackage it with a new number after the big pretty words "Final Fantasy" which is a pleasant little oxymoron in itself as there's been over a dozen. But in truth, the original Final Fantasy was just that, Square's Final Fantasy was a game that would save the company from its plummeting sales. Then there was another, and another, and another... anyway it saved Square's ass and put a glorious little package in our hands. Plus you can't really blame Squaresoft for reusing the old "the planet will be destroyed unless the unlikeliest of heroes pull through their own inner conflicts and save us all" plotline cause I mean c'mon, you blow up the world once and they'll expect it everytime anyway.
