I am a (relatively) old man from somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I was weened on Voltron and Robotech and raised on Ronin Warriors, Sailor Moon and Dragonball, with side dishes of oldies like Speed Racer, Star Blazers and Gigantor, so I am a veteran anime fan. I first got into AMVs in High School when my family went to a convention in Colorado (MinerCon) at the invitation of a pair of friends from our EQ guild. First saw AMVs there, and it was love at first sight.
Since then my sisters, my friends and I have steadily observed music videos, and thought about many of them, "Hey, *I* can do better than that! Any random person could do better than that!" Of course, there were others I saw I knew I could never hope to achieve, and that's what kept me looking. We (my sisters and I) have often thought about what WE would like to do, but we never had the means.
Now I have the means. Not the BEST video editing software--there's a LOT of stuff I'd like to do, but can't--but it's enough to satisfy my primary craving in life, which is to create entertainment.
I'm not a very social person (although I'm talkative when I have something to talk about), so you won't see me or any comments around much, but I visit from time to time. If you feel the need to talk to me, feel free to send me a message or an e-mail.
