[average 119.3 of 231938 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: I've been making fan videos for about a year now. I started out with video from TV shows like Charmed and Supernatural. I didn't start getting into AMVs until I saw a really good Naruto AMV. I had made some before but I wasn't too proud of it. When I got a better editing program thats when I really got into it. Most of the videos I have here are done in Sony Vegas.
As for me, I'm 23 and a Stay-At-Home mom so I find time to make these videos. Which is when I started JJEM Video Productions. This is where I edit home movies, just like I would an AMV. I actually incorporated some Anime into some of the video I made for my Children. Making AMV's is good practice for me to enhance my skills and apply it to all of my videos. I still consider myself still pretty new at this video making thing. I still can't compare to these people who have been doing this since they were 14, but if you are someone who watches one of my videos, please leave opinions so I could improve myself and my videos.
Since I was younger I always loved watch music videos on MTV, in a way I wanted to learn to direct some of these videos. When I hear music, I can just see an image in my head. My problem is I don't have the skills to make my visions alive. Although I was sidetracked in continuing my education, I hope to still learn and eventually take some coursed in editing either in music or video.
I do run a free website along with my JJEM Video Productions website. Please feel free to check them out. Basiclly I just offer video embeding codes of Fan Videos & AMV's for people to place on their page. The videos on my page are not only from me, but other video makers who wanted to place their videos on the site for us to advertise. I also run a group on myspace where people can ask questions about video editing and get help and opinions. If you have a myspace account, please join and help other or get help for yourself.
