- Profile: Well, I started editing video way back in the early months of 2001. This was before I even knew about AMVs. I had just found a nice program called PSMplay that would let you rip video and other sorts of files off of Playstation Discs. Thus began my adventure with video.
My first endevor was using the scenes from the 3rd disc of FFVIII and setting them to the theme song for the game by way of Windows Movie Maker. Being my first try at anything with video, it turned out decent and looked pretty good. It had no real makeings of an AMV because there was no timeing with the music and the video is the only thing that really told the story of what I had made.
Then as I was searching for stuff about my obsession with what I think is the best game ever, which is Chrono Trigger for the SNES. The PSone verson dosen't do it justice. I'll even go as far to say that if you don't have the means or the cash to buy the SNES verson, download the game via ROM before you buy the PSone verson. It just dosen't do the game justice. But back on the subject at hand, I found a the website for 'Feanors Music Videos'. and proced to downlaod ,what seemed at the time, bulky 27MB video. I was amazed at what could be done by timeing video with music. And so I proceeded with makeing my own music videos.
Next came my first real trys at makeing an AMV, which I still did not know what to call them. My first couple videos seemed like great achivements when I first made them, but now they just show the evolution of my video editing over time, however small the improvments may be ;)
