[average 119.3 of 231941 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: I started making music videos when I was bout 11 years old. They weren't exactly masterpieces, rather, some music thrown together with sailor moon clips downloaded from the internet, with absolutely no synchronization at all. I can't remember exactly which version, but I used some form of Ulead video studio, which was extremely restricting in effects/transitions etc. I made about 2 videos a day like that. Sooner or later I began to dedicate more time to the videos, and began to realize that Ulead wasn't very flexible. A few years later I decided to invest in Adobe Premiere 5.1. When I received it, it opened my eyes to a whole new world of video editing.
So here I am, years later, still making an occasional video. It is mostly pass time for when I have nothing else to do with the hours of the day, so I've never taken any lessons, nor have I ever read the Adobe Premiere manual...
I've easily seen over 100 anime series, and listen to a lot of music, but I *always* have trouble placing the right anime with the right music. When I finally get an idea, I will find myself working on videos at 4 in the morning on a day that I have to be somewhere by 8 A.M. I always try to keep visual effects emphasized, probably influenced by the Euphoria video. As for category, I am not very good with action. I have an action video in the works right now using the anime Gunsmith Cats, but I keep hitting roadblocks in inspiration. I seem to do better with romance/drama videos. My single video to date on AMV.org is a drama, and I really like the way it came out.
You can find it here, or at my website, as well as another video I made, but don't see worthy of putting on AMV.org.
