- Profile: Well, I'm 23. Been into anime and manga for maybe 15 years now, though I've never been to a con. I'll have to change that soon, if I can just find some in Montreal. I've only just gotten into AMVs recently so I'm more than willing to take tips and constructive criticism. I got into it because, back in school, I realized I had a knack for synchronizing music/sound with video. However, that was 2 years ago. I never bothered with it until now, for some reason, and I can't believe how much fun it is!
When it comes to anime and manga, I like to stick to the more serious stuff. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk so anything along the lines of "Ghost In The Shell" or "Lain" will be a major hit with me. If I can't find any of that, I generally stick to action-oriented anime. Of course, after recently viewing "the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", my views have changed somewhat.
I'm a graphic designer by day, amateur web cartoonist and avid gamer by night. My homepage is my online portfolio, which I'm currently reworking, though I'm being incredibly lazy about it. My main project at the moment is an online graphic novel: www.neotopia.com. Which is a cyberpunk fantasy comic aimed at mature audiences. I've been working on this comic for about 5 years, but the current version is just over a year old (I didn't like where the first version was going, and started over from scratch). As a gamer, I like shooters and RPGs mostly, though action and adventure games will also scratch my gaming itch. I have a 360, and a PC that's starting to show it's age.
Lastly, I'm also a goaltender in hockey. I play in the MHL, an amateur hockey league in Montreal.
GO HABS GO! ;P
