- Profile: I am Jeff, and this is [ScorchedEnclave] Productions.
I started making AMVs about a year ago, but with poor software and computer issues, I've only made three AMVs. I am working on trying to make more, but with the limited space I have on my computer, this isn't really going to be happening too much.
On The Goatriders' Horde, I used Windows Movie Maker and this was my first project. I didn't really try to time anything, I just wanted to get that whole battle into a cool video with awesome music behind it. I used Claymore for the anime and 3 Inches Of Blood's Goatriders' Horde.
On All Away For One Thing, I just got Sony Vegas 8 Pro to replace Windows Movie Maker, so I was just getting used to working with it. I tried a little more with timing and flow with the song, it was a good start with a new program. I used Spirited Away for the anime and Finger 11's One Thing.
On It's The Fear, I also got more comfortable with Sony Vegas make the process easier. This is when I learned of Video Editing, so I tried out what some of the effects looked like in this video. I made this video in eight hours with only three episodes of footage. I used Vampire Knight for the anime and Within Temptation's It's the Fear.
On Zero's Poison Heart, I used Vampire Knight again, with more clips so I wasn't so limited this time. I tried to be a lot cleaner with the visual effects and worked with clipping two different clips to run at once. I am pleased with how it came out and I hope that you are too.
My current project is an action AMV, you'll just have to wait to watch it when I'm done to find out what I used.
I am thinking about an AMV using True Tears to a slow Within Temptation song. Not entirely sure that I'm going to make this one, but if it does, it's showing up here.
I gladly welcome compliments both good and bad. I won't get mad at you or anything. This will help me improve on my videos before I enter them in contests or other events, and for future AMVs, I will know what to do and what not to do.
Thanks, [ScorchedEnclave] Productions
