(Please keep in mind that I have no idea why I actually just typed that. More than likely it's a biproduct of temporary sleep deprivation. In all likeliness, it shall be removed when I have the time to write out a better profile... or when I get my first video completed, which should be any day now.)
The first AMV that I can remember seeing was Kusoyaro's Goldenboy video to Limp Bizkit's Faith. From that moment, standing in my friend Brian's basement, watching over his shoulder, I knew that I wanted to make videos.
To date, I've created about 9 videos, though unfortunately all were VCR to VCR dubbing, with the sound spliced in through use of an old Playstation. The quality is low, the scene transitions have static breaks, and the timing is moderately passable... but they are my beginnings.
With the birth of my newest computer, Ziggy, I have finally attained the ability to take what I have only idly toyed with and make it into something I can share with many more people than just passing around a beat up VHS cassette.
So, once my videos have been completed and released, I hope that you enjoy watching them as much as I am enjoying making them.
