AVI Synth instalation problem

Sorry for the double threads tonight. I tried reinstalling AVI Synth to see if it would fix my problem from earlier and AVI Synth is telling me that it's can write the files it needs to run. I'm trying to use AVI Synth 2.08

Did I screw up something irreversibly?

Any previous version(s) you had before that worked?

I'd try sticking to those.

If not then I'm not too sure beyond that.

Yeah, a previous version at least installed right, though I don't think it was working as when I tried to use it it crashed VirtualDubMod

Wait, why are you trying to install 2.0.8?

Go with 2.5.5 at least.

That's what I foudn at the AVI Synth website. I guess I should poke around a bit more when I get a chance tonight.
