Delete/Change Uploaded Videos

Post by Elo-Dahn » Fri Nov 30, 2007 2:55 pm

Heya,

Sorry for the inconvenience...I recently started making my AMVs using NeroVision 4, part of NeroEssentials 7 software package. I uploaded four onto the site.

Unfortunately, anyone downloading these videos has likely been unable to view them. It took me some time to discover that the .mp4 files created by this software can only be viewed using NeroShowtimeEssentials (also part of the NeroEssentials, of course). It took me time to discover this, since, of course, I have the viewer--so everytime I downloaded the video to check if it was okay, it played fine on my computer. So, unless someone has registered version of this software, they can't view it. That makes my four videos mostly a waste of space.

Now I have updated versions that allow me to export the videos I create in much more compatible .avi format. So, my question is this; can these four entries (for reference, Son of Vandread, Everybody Loves Mai, Mai's Touch and This Generation, all by the Elo-Dahn) be deleted, allowing me to re-create them and upload the new files in .avi format, or should I change their descriptions to warn everybody away and just upload new entries for them?

Thank you for your time!

The Elo-Dahn

if they are the same exact videos and youre going to replace them with a better version than the old ones... you can go to the "Request Deletion of Bad Video Entry" (which can normally be found at the bottom of your "edit my videos" page) and request the file deletion there.
