I went to E3 as well. This is the third year I've gone, although, thanks to my school, it's the first time getting in legitimately and under my own name.
I didn't play Crystal Chronicles very much since I never did have another player to go in with. It seems interesting, but I hope it still has some good single player value (I tend to play games alone).
I liked Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, but i got beaten pretty easily since the text was all still in Japanese and I couldn't figure out how to do some things like give my allies AI commands so they won't just stand there and get beaten by the enemy. It also took me a while to find the items and magic to revive a fallen character. All of that aside, it looks like a good game.
MGS3: Snake Eater. That video was strange. The game looked interesting, but the video was nothing too spectacular. It was just a lot of scenes with Snake killing enemy soldiers. Some of the things were a bit funny, but seemed out of place. "What is this? Another Grand Theft Auto? This isn't Vice City, this is a jungle."
As always, they have a lot of free stuff, mostly shirts. These are all the shirts I got:
3 Gran Turismo 4 shirts
3 .Hack shirts (one of each design they had)
Deus EX 2
Final Fantasy XI
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell
Mario Kart
I also waited in line at Brady Games section at the end of the last day when they clear out their booth by giving out their strategy guides. A lot of the good ones were gone by the time I got to the desk, but I did get a Xenosaga guide.
