- Profile: Ha, take THAT you bad old profile. Yep, I'm modifying my profile ever so slightly, because I realized that people are actually reading this thing, and that?s embarrassing.
Ok, I'm sixteen year-old boy (gak), I'm a Pieces, I'm a writer and I occasionally dabble in art (only occasionally since I'm not terrible good at it), and also I've been known to create a AMV once in awhile. Also on a more privet (yet still anime related) topic, I tend to get over-attached to the characters in the animes, or any entertainment medium (books, cartoons, movies ext.)
"It was wrong to think that feeling nothing was better then feeling sad. That sadness was real, it was human." Jeri Katou
Whew, that was fun. Jeri is a character from Digimon Season 3: Tamers, by the way. You may have noticed that it is at the top of fav anime list. Let me clarify that I am NOT some DBZ freak (sorry to all the DBZ freaks I just dissed) or that I only watch the main stream crap, and I like to think that I have good tastes. So don't knock Digimon if you haven't seen it, its better then a lot of the speel. Truth be told I'm surprised that season three made the jump overseas so intact. Its very gritty and dark for what is generally considered a kiddy show. Compared to most "normal" anime it's got all the things that are just par for the course, and compared to other animes it's fairly tame, but you should still give it a shot. You'll see what I mean if you do.
Well enough of that sappy shiznit, and on to my actual AMV stuff.
Ok, I've finished five videos, and they are as follows, in chronological order of course.
A very silly action scene with the help of Alice Cooper:
Song; Leather Boots
Artist; Alice Cooper
Animes; Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT
AMV's how to live like a Rock Star:
Song; Party Hard
Artist; Andrew W.K.
Animes; (abbreviated list) Tenchi Muyo, Trigun, Dragonball /Z/GT, Patlabor
Do the Evolution:
Song; Do the Evolution
Artist; Pearl Jam
Animes; Digimon Tamers (Season 3), Digimon Frontier (Season 4)
Stuff that is bad because it wants to be:
Song; I'm a Asshole
Artist; Dennis Leary
Animes; (abbreviated list) Tenchi Muyo, Trigun, Dragonball /Z/GT
Push the Weak:
Song; Deer Dance
Artist; System of a Down
Animes; Digimon Tamers, Digimon Frontier, Evangelion
(A little note here, of those videos the only one I plan on releasing on-line is Push the Weak, also in Push the Weak the bit of Eva I used is so short you probably wouldn?t notice it, I just needed a good explosion)
Ok, now on to my planed projects. A few of these will see the light of day, but some might not for whatever reason.
The life and times... Of a hero
Song; Hero
Artist; Kroger and Scott (Spiderman soundtrack)
Anime; Digimon Tamers
This video is going to be a so of abbreviated look at Impmon's impact on the third season of Digimon.
(no title yet)
Song; Smooth Criminal (remix)
Artists; Michael Jackson and Alien Ant Farm
DJ; DJ Yeager (I think)
Animes; Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo
I can't believe nobody has done a video for Ryoko to this song. Well hopefully I'll beat everyone to it.
(no title yet)
Song; Devil's Dance
Artist; Metallica
Animes; Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, possibly Tenchi in Tokyo, and probably some stuff from the movies if I ever get around to buying them >_<
I'm not really sure what to do with this one, I have an idea, but that?s about it. The jist of it is that I'm going to make Sasami look as evil as possible, just because I like the idea.
(no title yet)
Song; Hero of the Day
Artist; Metallica
Anime; Digimon Tamers
Again with this heroic business ^_^, anyway the premises behind the song is "Finding the hero of the day" so I'm going to play off of that, with the Tamers finding the "hero?s" in themselves. Plus I like the Bio Merge Digivolution scenes, so it'll give me an excuse to use them.
(no title yet)
Song; Clint Eastwood
Artist; Gorillaz
Anime; Digimon Tamers
Damn you'd think I'm obsessed or something, oh well I'm enjoying my obsession. Anyway the idea behind this one is the song being about a sprit possessing the bands drummer and making him all big and bad and stuff, and Calimon sort of dose the same thing by giving Digimon the power to Digivolve. Besides Calimon lip-syncing to the rap portions of the song is just to good to pass up ^_^
(no title yet)
Song; Stayin' Alive
Artists; The Bee Gees
Anime; Irresponsible Captain Tylor
I've only seen the first four episodes of I.C. Tylor, but this just seems to fit. Whether or not I actually do it however remains to be decided.
