So I'm planning on making an Escaflowne AMV, but I can't think of a good song to go with it. What do you guys think?

Well, Escaflowne involves people flying and defying gravity (oops, spoiler).

So how about something about flying. Something fast.

I'd remaster/remake my Flying video to Escaflowne with Volare if I had the non-subtitled footage. But it would take AGES- especially a scene by scene remaster. Remake would be somewhat easier due to different edits.

What kind of Escaflowne vid are you trying to make? Drama? Action? Character profile? Is there a story arc you want to display? What do you want to show/say about Escaflowne? Are you doing the movie or the anime?

How about the DDR song "Dam Dariam" ?

It has the chorus line - "Falling in love again-" and etc, great song, think it could fit.

It's my personal mission to see more amvs to this song

Its going to be mainly action with maybe some character profile. Yes, I'm doing the series. Its mainly going to have lots of cool guymelef scenes and all that. So something kind of intense. Stuff similar to battle music in the series would work.

I've considered using the music from the series, but to me thats kinda like cheating and it would make it boring.

IMHO, this is not a good song for anything "actiony". It's very slow and mostly soft.

I was just listening to The Fragile today.. Not sure there are any songs on it that would fit well with Guymelf battles. Maybe "No You Don't"?
