Most overused songs: Your oppinions expressed here

Ehehe! Somebody linked to a thread I started! Cool!

Anyhow, I DO give lower originality scores to people who use really common combinations. For example- Linkin Park Naruto or DBZ. Or Bring me to Life with...well, practically anything that's licensed.

BUT if it is an original idea that just happens to have an overused anime- such as TMNT Cowboy Bebop- or a common song/group to an anime that I hardly ever see stuff of- such as Legend of Dragoon or Candy Candy- then that would still score high in originality.

LOL @ Castor Troy for the inside joke. In the other thread, I nominated Bring me to Life as THE most overused song. But In the End may have won instead.

The songs are overused for a reason. Despite the fact everyone whines about them, still does not stop people from downloading them. I have seen several good AMVs using less popular music to go completely unnoticed. If they were done to whoever is number one in the rock charts. They would easily get a lot more fanfare.

The simple truth is, it is not popular to be different.

one of the most commonly used combos, and songs, that i've heard is Evangelion with Mad World.
as much as i love the Donnie Darko movie, it has messed up many an AMV
