Yeh, and the only defense we'd have is that it's not being used for personal profit. Using pirated clips to make AMVs to burn to DVD and sell on eBay... now that'd be a no-chance-for-defense situation.

Heh, It Could Be From Your Video. One Of My Friends (Real Life Friend..) Rips His Stuff And Sends It To Me. Though I Seem To Have Noticed Clips Hes Sent Me That Looks Undoubtedly Like Ive Seen It In Other AMVs. But He Does Have The Blood: The Last Vampire DVD, So I Dont Know. Meh, Sorry If It Is An Actual Clip From Your Vid.

When does the fun start again?

I liked it better when people didn't care about logos and whatnot, the main thing is...did you enjoy the video or not?

This is the thing... I would have probably enjoyed the video, if it wasn't for the subs.

It's such an easy thing to get rid of most of the time (with cropping) that its a shame for a fun video to not be fun.

Heh, I don't mind some logos if they aren't big and flashing on and off at random and distracting me. ^_^; But the fun will never start again. Everyone has to get better, they have to be good and original and have nice great quality using the proper sources, and use stories and editing styles and effects that are deemed worthy in the eyes of the public. Otherwise, there will always be complaints. ^_~

Just to note, released doesn't mean produced. ^_^;; I took that date to mean the first time the videos were put up for general viewing, not the day they were completed. You can hold a video for years, make others and hold them, and then release them on the same day - that doesn't mean you didn't put any effort into them, just that you uploaded them on the same day. But a limit to the number of vids a person can upload per period of time may certainly be in order.

Well yes vids can be held for awhile, but based on this persons other release dates and video quality, it looks like she just made 5 videos over 4th of july weekend :l

Sorry to be persistent, but if I'm taking the second rule too seriously, maybe it should be ammended - 'Thou shalt not use downloaded video footage to make AMVs unless you want to' - or something similar. Otherwise it's misleading.

You shoulda known its not a rule, based on what the 1st one is
