I need a good comedy song, anyone know of one?

I have been trying to find a good comedy song or a song that can be made into a comedy AMV and that hasn't been done before. Anyone have any suggestions?

Comedy's in the eye of the beholder - start with an anime and come up with a different way of looking at it. What anime do you have?

Anywho - Here's a few songs I've been trying to see more of here, they might be something to work with if this is what you're looking for.

Do You Love Me (Now that I can Dance) - Dave Clark Five
Bang On The Drum All Day - Todd Rundgren
These Boots Were Made for Walkin – Nancy Sinatra
Penny Lane - Beatles
“Fame”
“Telephone Hour” – Bye Bye Birdie
“I Hope I Get it” – A Chorus Line

“America” – West Side Story
“Officer Krupke” – West Side Story

I was thinking Penny Lane could possibly work for Full Metal Alchemist if you look at the lyrics.

Tenchi Muyo to Spice Girls "Wannabe"

Cowboy Bebop to "Hey Bulldog" by the Beatles

Full Metal Alchemist "You can call me Al" Paul Simon

1) Video - Brock (Pokemon) loves Kitsune (Love Hina) even though both are practically blind (Neither's eyes are truly visible)
Audio: For Your Eyes Only (a James Bond Song)

2) Mutsume Ohtome (Love Hina) and Hyatt (Excel Saga)'s habits of spontaneous "death" as the video. - The audio is "I'm Still Standing" (Elton John)

Kay, well good luck - hope this helps, be sure to LMK if you like any of these ideas enough to do them.

How about "Einstein A Go Go" by Landscape, or "Channel Z" by The B-52's

Taking a sort of cue from pinky, personally I'd be amused to see someone make a comedy video work with the song 'A Little Priest' from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (...the entire song's about cannibalism, by the way.)

Oh - Lemme add "Summer Nights" from Grease. It's always karaoked, but it might be fun to put some fun visuals to.

most songs produced by Adult Swim shows (such as The Brak Show, or Aqua Teen Hunger Force) are pretty good.

Stephen Lynch writes comedy songs (like Priest, Down to the Old Pub Instead, or Special).

I think some songs by Screamin' Jay Hawkins would make for some fine comedy AMVs:

"I Put a Spell on You" -- Maburaho, Negima!

"Little Demon" -- Zatch Bell, Bleach (focus on Kon)

"Orange-Colored Sky" -- FLCL

Now if you don't mind country/bluegrass, here are some songs from this genre that I also think would make for some great comedy AMVs:

"Austin Minor Sympathy" by John Hartford
Anime: Azumanga Daioh, Love Hina

"Trying to Do Something to Get Your Attention" by John Hartford
Anime: Gravitation

"Bonfire of the Inanities" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Excel Saga

"Jesus Loves Me (But He Can't Stand You)" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Chrono Crusade (focus on Rosette)

"Bust the High School Students" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Cromartie High School

"Life is Hard, But Life is Hardest When You're Dumb" by the Austin Lounge Lizards
Anime: Azumanga Daioh (focus on Osaka)
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again...then quit and get tanked."

Berke Breathed, "Bloom County."
