Virtualdub seems to be pinching my video

Post by Sand3 » Sat Mar 28, 2009 9:51 pm

I just ripped Conqueror of Shamballa off the DVD and when I open the VOB files, they're being squished into a 'fullscreen' size rather than the 'widescreen'. How do I fix my screen dimensions here?

you'll have to resize your footage to the correct resolution. All DVDs are 720x480, but widescreen DVDs have a flag set that tells your player to change the resolution
