Actually, for the pre-show it would probably be good to show some of the videos and creators that did not make it in to be fair

While I don't make a habit of taking requests for the pre-show. I usually try to mix it up, I go for good videos from this year that didn't make it as well as kick ass videos from the past and elsewhere. With all the really great videos that were entered this year I suspect most of the videos will be those that didn't make finals.

Hey Michael, if you do have a minute I am curious regarding what you thought of my Animatrix video. Strangely that was the one I had the most confidence in and the only one that didn't make it.

Any thoughts on live streaming the contest for those of that can't attend? And as long as everyone else is asking, I'd like to hear thoughts on my submissions too, especially the one that didn't make it in.

I find it amusing that this gets posted around the same time I get raped by TSA officers in Minneapolis. Nice to see some friendly names on the list, though still a little sad to see old video's as well as the lack of the videos I was rooting for and my own. Regardless congratulations to the finalists. If it would be possible some feedback on my video would be appreciated as well.

At least now I can schedule the last week of my stay proper =P

You and Chiikaboom both deserve mad props for taking a serious chance and doing something out of the box.

That's what I was hoping for! With so many entries, it would be a shame not to use what you have. Plus it's the last chance I have to see my vid on the screen, but I seriously wanna see others too!

Streaming contest... great idea. Unfortunately, it will likely never happen. We are operating in a pretty much legal grey zone as it is. To stream it would be asking for legal repercussions.

As for input... PM me after the contest. Not to be rude but I am so swamped with all my other Expo duties let alone my main paying gig that I don't have any free time to do such at this point. I am sorry. Ping me in pm after con and I will do my best.

Spontaneous responses aren't out of the question but in depth responses beyond "I liked it" or "Not my cuppa" take time I won't have till after con.

ASCAP has different contracts for public performance at a venue and streaming data over the internet. You typically wouldn't pay for both unless you planned to officially record stuff at the convention and later put it on your website.
