They've never not handed the free tickets to the entrants over the 10+ years I've been going. I doubt the number influences a lot. The prize certainly increased the entry numbers but I doubt it increased the number of attending entrants all too much. At best it likley got some people who allready attend the con to suddenly submit videos (I'm looking at you youtubers).

Do we still pick up our creator's tickets at the AMV 101 panel?

I too would like to know if you are still giving out the tickets to creators who entered and were not DQ'd.
And if so are they going to be handed out at the end of the AMV 101 panel like years past?

The plan was to get a bunch of Wrist bands which would be handed out to creators at the AMV 101 panel.
Since the presentation is in Concourse not Nokia ticketing isn't really an option. There will be a section set aside for creators. The wrist band will let you sit in it. :)It also means your ballot goes towards selecting "Creator's favorite".

I need to verify with Programming that they got those.

Hiya! congrats to all the people who made it in ^_^ and all those you submitted amvs. I've been a fan of the AX AMV Contest for years and have attended it since 2006. I started submitting amvs to the contest in 2009. I'm one of the finalist this year, first time XD, but I don't know where to go exactly. Do I wait in line to see the amv contest and wait for a ticket or is there special seating for contestants? I saw some comments about meeting at the amv panel and something about wrist braclets...

I dunno if someone can help direct me where to go and what to do, it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you ^_^
