The official Ohayocon 14 AMV contest list

First, let me say to all of the editors who submitted for the Ohayocon 14 AMV contest
and have been waiting for the contest list to be posted, thank you very much for your patience.

This, for me, was the most difficult group to put in for this contest that I have personally
experienced. Not that there weren't AMVs that stood out better or AMVs that were not up to snuff,
but that the vast majority of the AMVs were about as equal to each other as I have personally
witnessed. But that said, I believe this list was the best of the best from each category.

Now there are two changes to the contest format. First I am dropping the parody/trailer category.
There was only one entry in it and it didn't score very well. Also, I am adding a new category:
Dark Drama/Horror. The background story on this is that I received over 70 AMV submissions and
30% of them were from the Drama category. Some in the Drama category were of the more dark
variety. So in order to make sure the really good videos don't get left out, I created a
dark drama/horror category. Also, this keeps with my goal of having 7 categories so more AMVs
will have a chance to win an award.

I was constantly looking at the old thread, didn't know a new thread was created. Not that it is needed to be fixed, but you spelled Kange on my Hurricane video in the exhibition category. I make the same mistake too though. Still though, oh god over 70 in total? I applaud your patience with every video, must have took hours.

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner as I was busy with the contest all weekend. We had two contest showings: 3:00 PM on Friday and 1:30 PM on Saturday. The awards ceremony was on Sunday at 1:00 PM. I posted the contest results above.
