Otakon 2008: VIDEOS WITH PROBLEMS

Hi kids. I've finally made it through all of the submissions and there are a few that have lingering problems. If your studio is on this list, please contact vboruta@otakon.org as soon as possible so that we can work out a solution.

Entry form received: No video

If your name is on THE ABOVE LIST, then you will have to PROVE that you did attempt to submit your video. If your video was sent by mail, I will need the tracking number and carrier type so that I can look up and verify that your entry was in fact sent. If your video was sent by FTP, I will need your FTP account name so that I can check the logs and verify that you connected to the server. If you can't prove it, I can't accept it into the contest.

If your studio is on THE ABOVE LIST, then you are missing your digital submission form. If you mailed in your form, you still need a digital form. Contact me ASAP as the form is no longer online. Your video will not be entered into the contest without a form.

If your studio is on THE ABOVE LIST, then there was a fatal problem with your submission, preventing me from being able to convert it to the necessary format, or simply read the file. Your fixed entry must be received by midnight June 15th in order for me to encode it in time for pre-screenings. Contact me ASAP so that we may arrange a means for you to resubmit.

Anyone who submitted and is not on any of these lists, should have gotten a confirmation e-mail already. If not, then I either do not have your form AND your video, or your spam filter blocked my e-mail.

i'm uploading my entry thru yousendit.com. i'm not familiar with ftp servers enough to trust myself with them this close to the deadline. (hence i always use snail mail.)

it should be done uploading in about an hour (i hope).

in case something screws up, i have until midnight, right?

When I looked at the topic I started thinking 'oh crap, oh crap, I messed up, I can't spend more money to send another one!' I was relived though to find that I wasn't on the list. LOL ^-6
