flint_the_dwarf wrote:Yeah Automatic for the People was a great album. "Drive" is possibly my favorite song off of that album. But ya gotta admit Out of Time had some pretty sad songs. "Shiny Happy People" ring a bell, eh eh :D ?
*shudder* i seem to remember "shiny happy people" being WAY over played. :/ which subaquently got the song on my "turn the radio station when this song is on" list.

Anyway, "Not Even the Trees" by Hootie and the Blowfish is probably the saddest and most depressing song that I know of. "El Tango de Roxanne" off of the Moulin Rouge Sound track is rather sad too.
"Women are scary."

Don't Speak by No Doubt. Everytime I hear that song, I have the urge to go somewhere where I can just be alone with my thoughts, and I come close to tears. It hits me hard.

Alice in Chains' "Angry Chair" is pretty depressing. "So little hope that I died."

Probably "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails or "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" by Radiohead.

Well, I tend to listen to headbanger type music, and you don't get to many sad songs in that particular category.

But Hero by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott dose kind of hit me emotionally. Probably because of the video I thought up for it. It makes me feel kind of empowered, but also a little sad to, its kind of hard to explain really.

yeah, kamoc is right. the saddest song ever is an instrumental by the silent hill ost. maybe, just maybe you'd have to play the game to really get the meaning of it, but it is an incredible song none-the-less. i highly advise you all to download it

A song from a Maison Ikkoku CD I have...it's a Paul McCartney sound-alike, and I think it's called "Alone Again" or something.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.
