Looking for Anime suggestions

I think you should watch all of World's Worth and tell me if it was any good. Watch Twin Angels while you're at it........

Wow wow wow people! I'm just now getting NOIR. I've got about 15 ep's so far. I should watch NOIR 1-5 and then decide if I want to continue watching the rest of it, but I've been busy, not to mention sick.

I'm also in the middle of watching the second .hack anime, Legend of Twilight's Bracelet, or whatever it's called. I don't know if I can put up with watching several at a time. I think I'd mix up plots and characters.

I've only seen one Anime through, Hack Sign, but I don't like as much of Anime as a whole as some people I know (in real life)... but still, I have some catching up to do.

Or you could always...(gasp) buy the anime

. I guess I'm somewhat guilty of this since I d/l as well to get a good idea and then purchase. However, I only do this for shows that aren't licensed in the US yet (i.e. can't buy). The ones I mentioned are licensed and I'd suggest borrowing someone's or renting them. Fansubs are generally not the best in terms of translations and of course in quality. A DVD is *much* better to watch IMHO.

As for not liking a lot of anime, I'm unfortunately in the same boat as you. I've noticed after watching *really* good anime, I can't seem to like "mediocre" anime that I would've enjoyed earlier in my anime "career." So, I guess take all the suggestions as just that...suggestions. I think watching 3 - 4 episodes of each is a good idea too.

That's why I'm only listing a couple that have music with similar styles as .hack//SIGN since you stated that one of the more enjoyable things you found about .hack//SIGN was the yuki kajiura style of songs. Featuring characters with similar personalities to tsukuasa.

I could have sworn I made another reply to this thread, about not being able to afford to buy all the Anime series I wanted to check out... hmm... maybe.... any number of things could have happened... Anyway, to sum it up, I'm not in a position to buy any now but I do solemnly swear to read the forum rules more carefully.

I've watched the first two episodes of Noir. Whoever encoded them is on some bad bad drugs because they go out a few times each, but I was able to get most of it. The interesting thing about Noir is I know I was talking to my cousin months ago, or rather he was talking to me, about this Anime in which one girl says to another that in the end, she's going to have to kill her. A couple nights ago, he watched the first 5 episodes, and he didn't recall telling me about it. Or he could have been talking about another Anime for all I know, but that's one hell of a coincidence.

I've got this thread saved as a favorite, so when I get done with Noir (after Ep.26 or I get bored with it) I'll be back for another suggestion; meanwhile I am "watching" this topic so to speak via email notifications. (I wish more boards had email notifications.)
