My favorite anime moment is in the last eposide of black heaven. The scene where the ultmate wepon(i think thats what they call it), is about to fire on the ship, then the guy says, "I want everyone to remember this night". The band starts playing a really romantic sounding song, then all of a sudden the keboardest(cloned by the enemy with 4 arms to use aganst the band) twitches and the wepon fires on the enemy. It was even better seeing it on the big screen at A-cen.

***********SPOILERS FROM ESCAFLOWNE AND KENSHIN***********
Vision of Escaflowne
1) Episode 14 - Where Vaughn kills Dilandau's entire group. Probably my favorite "fight" ever (although it's just a massacre). Vaughn's face during it is drawn so...well...psychotically.
2) Episode 22 - Folken. Black Wings. Bad ass. Scene still gives me goosebumps when I see it. Made a badass character even more badass. The last frame of the episode with Folken reaching his hand out to Vaughn, Hitomi looking upwards, black feathers flying and Hitomi saying "That day the brothers were re-united, but Folken's wings were as black as the night" is my favorite cel. Unfortunately, someone already bought it
. Since I think too much while watching, I thought it implied Folken was just going to betray them in the end (as in...he was the real big bad guy and would betray both Dornkirk and Vaughn ala Kefka from Final Fantasy XI).
3) Episode 24 - Yup a "sappy one." Vaughn comes to Earth to tell Hitomi he loves her. The moment when she hugs him is quite touching. It takes 24 episodes (out of 26) for her to realize that she truly loves him (instead of Allen). I for one liked the build-up and her final realization.
Rurouni Kenshin
1) Episode 29 (I believe) - Saitoh does the vertical Gatotsu and stabs Kenshin. Up until this point, the viewer thinks Kenshin is the ultimate badass and can't be touched. Yahiko even says exactly what the viewer is thinking when he thinks Kenshin dodges Saitoh's attack "Yes! I knew Kenshin was the best!" Saitoh shows us that Kenshin isn't really all that good (without being the Battousai again). A cliffhanger with the main character stabbed...hmmm?
2) Episode 55 - Soujirou breaks. This is probably my favorite moment in all of anime (since Soujirou is my favorite character). After Soujirou's flashback, Soujirou attacks Kenshin once again, but it's noticeable that he isn't as fast or that Kenshin can somewhat predict his movements (meaning Soujirou isn't as emotionless as before). Finally after Kenshin blocks an attack Soujirou begins to say:
"Ano toki anata wa...Boku o mamodekuruna katanjanaidesukara. Anata ga tadashitoyunara. Nande Mamodekurunankotodesu?" - "That night....you didn't protect me at all. If you really speak the truth, why didn't you protect me?"
(sad that I know this line in japanese, but I've seen it so many times)
This is the moment where Soujirou breaks and blames Kenshin and his philosophies since if they were correct, he would never have been abused or treated the way he was (if his ways are correct). He isn't necessarily blaming Kenshin for not being there perse, but it was Shishio's philosophy of killing the weak that saved Soujirou. The music to this scene makes it even more perfect. The violin's forte and upward flow go perfectly with his lines and also the sword strikes. The final scene of this (and the cliffhanger) is Soujirou charging Kenshin and Kenshin screaming "Soujirou!!!!" and the camera zooming in on his face. Trust me, I am not doing justice to the scene by describing it. WATCH!!!! PERFECT!

G-Gundam: when master Asia dies, that was pretty sad.....
Evangelion:the ep. where Eva 1 gets a human arm...i like the part where the angel gets into NERV and causes havok, is like, you dont know what's gonna happen next
Escaflowne: when Hitomi kissed Alan, that sucked for Van
Saint Seiya:....this one's though.....when Shiryu dies in the Capricorn house. or when Hyoga dies with Camus, those were sad.....oh the the fight with Geminis in the master room, that was sweet
