GunParade March was a lot like fullmetal.panic! in theme It's very good for an anime based on a video game. It could be very depressing at times though, like almost Saishuuheiki Kanojo level depressing.
Another good recent title is E's Otherwise. I think someone asked about it recently too. It's similar to Scyred (Same company I think) and has an X-Men feel to it what with all the characters with special powers that are feared by the general populance. The opening is very pretty. Shinlu looks like Sailor Moon and Kai looks like Kamui from X.
I'm also looking into the Human Scramble series. It's kind of like an anime version of 'The Wonder Years' each episode features a different modern-day person and tells the story of how they came to be who they are. The first episode told the stoy of a champion boxer, and was very touching. It's very innovative how some anime titles are trying to portray reality instead of fiction, They even hired a Japanese drama actor to voice the main characters. This is an unique kind of anime that'll make you reflect on life. It's very insightful.

Another anime caught my eye recently. It's called Dear Boys and it's an awesome basketball anime. It looks like it's going to be better than Slam Dunk in every way possible. It's got impressive 3D basketball animations and an eclectic cast of both male and female basketball players. The first episode actually reminded me more of fullmetal.panic! than Slam Dunk, what with the new transfer student bit and the home teacher and coach being a woman. On top of that, it's got an awesome selection of music. Lots of dance, techno, and hip-hoppish stuff that has a really good beat and is really catchy. I've got to find that one song they were playing in the background when aikawa was dribbling past the girls. There was only one thing I found really silly about it and that was ending sequence with the rapper dribbling the ball about was pretty silly, although they did a bunch of digital effects to make it a bit neater. If you liked Slam Dunk!, GetBackers, or just want to see an anime that actually portrays a girls basketball team you owe it to yourself to check Dear Boys out. And even if you don't, you should still check it out for the unique 3D basketball animations and the great songs.

Scrapped Princess - I am really enjoying it XD I have the first 2 episodes and I will be collecting more XD Entertaining, funny, and cute ^^
Last Exile - Another anime I'm hooked on as well. It's visualy pleasing and I love the idea/plot behind it. I can't wait to see more XD
E's Otherwise - Love this too ^^ Great animation and music, and I'm loving the character. One thing that get me with that show is, I wrote an orgial fan fic that uses the same sort of ideas and even some of the characters look how I described them ^^;; I'm interested to see how it plays out XD
Nurse Witch Komugi Chan Magikarte- Weird ass she-at, watched one eps and deleated it ^^ was to strange and pointless for me ^^
The others you listed and checked on but didn't care for :(

Stellvia is starting to get a bit more interesting and less boring. Episode 3 is very funny, the group of freshmen almost doom the Galaxy to extinction by accident... although I won't spoil exactly how. And they meet a few of the famous "big four" upper-classmen, including Shoujin the Dust Chute Ninja. (This all boosts Stellvia's cool points a bit for me.) It's taken a little while but this anime is starting to be more entertaining, and that's definately a good thing. It also explains why there's a big University up in space asides from the fact that they can have a big University up in space in the future.

I haven't really seen many new anime's recently, or what you'd call new by now. I have seen the first couple of episodes of E'S Otherwise, and it does seem to have a bit of potential, and anything with superpowers normally keeps me excited anyway . I've yet to see Last Exile although I have the first episode or so, just don't have so much time to watch anymore. Mainly been watching Gundam Seed 8) You know Gundam rocks....
