I actually atribute it to people's sadistic love of Eva and that they cannot stand to see their beloved unit O1 get whipped by a gundam.

Wing would not even stand a chance against Eva01...infact any eva simple because of their AT field. Any kind of weapons would be able to penetrate an AT field, especially a berserker.

And another rhing is even if the eva's power supply was cut, the still have a few million plates of armor that a gundam won't be able to penetrate.

Actually, I atribute it to the fact that there's no way an Eva could loose to a wind-up doll with wings.

the eva couldnt scratch the gundam, ita armor is just too strong for 01 to penetrate.

Does it really matter? Both are ink and paint on animation cels. And if they were real and about to have a match,we'd all be freaking rather than musing on who is better.

Ink and paint? INK AND PAINT?! They're godlike. and besides.. Eva's are made with much better ink and paint then any gundam could ever be, so that settles it.
