One of the main reasons I am an anime fan is because of the romance in anime titles...
Some titles aren't "Romantic" titles, but still have romance in them.
Phantom Quest Corp. isn't a Romance title, but I love the relationship between Ayaka and Kozo.
Gundam 0080 isn't a Romance title, but the relationship between Bernie and Christine is heart-breaking
Macross Plus has a wonderful romantic subplot, but I wouldn't call it a Romance title.
Ranma 1/2 is a romantic comedy, but my favorite eps of Ranma 1/2 are the ones where the romance is played up over the comedy (most notably in the OAV eps)
My favorite romantic story, however, is from the original El Hazard OAV. The story of Makoto and Ifurita was the one I was waiting for... and the OAV will always be in my top 10 just for that... (of course El Hazard has MANY good things going for it.)
Fushigi Yugi is a melodramatic romance, but that's OK.
Maison Ikkoku is another good title and I hear VIZ is finally going to release it on DVD!!!
I saw some people reccomending anime that I would list...
so I'll just stop there for now.

There are two kinds of people in this world:
Those who divide people into two kinds of groups
and those who don't.
