But to answer your question: It's different, but from all accounts of people that have tried out the game it's beautiful. Yes, it looks 'kiddie', but the gameplay and feel is still Legend of Zelda. It hasn't been dumbed down just because they changed the art style, which was one of the first accusations to be thrown around when the new style was revealed for the game.

I totally agree plus this new look will both allow for faster gameplay and more features on Links face. Its really unique even when you consider how many games have gone the way of the cel.

well, I figured it was on-topic since Zelda is now anime-style ^_^

Only I disagree that this new game feels like Zelda .. I know that the gameplay will be wonderful and all, but I'm an artist, and I've always been drawn to Zelda because of its style, and this one just really loses it for me. It just doesn't seem like Zelda anymore, and I'm disappointed. The colors, the mood, the design .. it's just straying way too far for me.

(I'm not arguing with anybody's opinion, just stating my own)

I can't really give an opinion on it until I play the game. However, the one thing I admired about the previous titles was that the graphics seemed very realistic for a Nintendo 64 game. I'm disappointed that they didn't continue with the tradition, but I'm sure the game play will make up for it. Besides, it's for GameCube.
