Well i loved the Zone Of Enders mecha it looked pretty much different from any other mecha out there

I was always partial to Genbu from Dual!, with limiter off that is, so it had the Light Hawk Wings.

Zakus have my vote, they kicked ass...(especially the blue commander special, with the chain gun)

Ummm, while I'm at it, the 9 that wooped Asuka's ass at the end of NGE (I think it was a movie),

The M-9 from Full Metal Panic!

The Atlas from Battletech (oops...not anime...well...not really)

The Veritech (any of 'em) from Robotech (come on...the daddy of heavy mecha anime...gotta have it there)

And Dilandau's mech with the cloaking ability from Escoflowne series.

I think that should list my favorites...

Gunbuster is a GREAT series! But the mecha Gunbuster itself is too powerful that it isn't any fun to see in action.
