The only problem with that is that other people will say the same thing about other anime series. There should be a trigun, eva, bebop, lain, fruits basket, escaflowne, akria, BERSERK sitcky!!!! RK has been brought up before and I am sure if you use the search engine you can find more than you need on it.

WIth that said, I liked the OVAs the best, favorite part was when Kenshin fights that one kid who goes really fast, and Kenshin can't read him because he has no emotions in battle, and I can't remember his name. That part was turly kick ass.

anywho, yes there are alot of things in the actual series I like as well, though I just like the style and art work of the movies.... movies are "generally" better than the long endured repetetive art work of a series an such...

I've started both manga and anime...I need to pick one and stick with it, otherwise this'll get real expensive (and I'll be seeing a lot of stuff twice instead of catching TWO series at once, which would be vastly better...)

You should buy the manga because it is cheaper and you get to see things that the anime doesn't have.

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite anime. I've never seen the ova though. I know what happens because I have the books. I love Kenshin!

When RK was on Toonami( Even though the episodes were cut

) I would watch it anytime it was on.

I love the mangas the best. Mainly because you get the whole back story to the OVAs. Besides, in the manga, you get to meet Tomoe's father, find out Sanosuke's real last name, actually meet his family, and see Shishio's real face. Oh yeah, you also get to see Shishio and Kenshin in Hell together.

rk is a really good anime. i think it is one of my favs. and i think the diffrence bettween rk and samurie x is the amount og b lood and dead bodies..... and me being a peacefull person, prefeer the less bloody version of the 2. still i like them both the same. my faverit parts are when kenshing goes all out and like slughters.... even tho he cant kill with the sword he uses now.
