Ever since Groening left the show, though, the writing has been really sub-par. Still, I'll be watching episode 300 this Sunday, hell yeah!!

Ok, back on topic...

Kenshin should be pretty cool on CN. I guess, I haven't seen it.

Kenshin on the CN.. cant say its not a good idea .. as long as they dont try and edit the ova's to run with the show (they would be butchered!) the series iteself is good ... and pretty tame.

It's even on a prime time lock, so you know that it's going to be slaughtered. How are they going to pull off getting rid of all the blood? It just seems to spray out... Yeah.

this kinda sucks...oh well, anyways, kenshin is 95 episodes, you dont need to be rich to buy it, especially since the show pretty much ends in the 50's and i wouldnt reccomend buying it past that.

I'd just go for the DVD's personally, and i have CN removed from my scanning list on my TV and i dont intend to put it back

The dubbing is reported to suck a lot too, kills a good part of Kenshin's character effect. I wouldn't call people like Jin'e and Aoshi's crew tame, nor Shishio.
The prime time slot might be a click that they are not targetting the show for just kids (3pm), but teen-adult. If this is so, they might not be total fucking idiots. But that doesn't mean this is smart either.

Kenshin is one of those series you buy R2, and R2 alone. Dubbing sux, and the HK bootleg versons look like VHS on acid.
