I think the first anime movie I saw was Lensman, then I was watching some japanese tv show (just flippin thru the channels) and they had an ad for a manga/anime convention so went and picked up ranma 1/2, record of lodoss and i was hooked.

well i had watch a bunch of random anime but not had notice that they were anime (Dbz,Voltran,ronin warriors, yeah, yeah sailor moon.). but it was until i watched akira it just blew me away. although I watched it back then in 1998 the animation was amazing. After watching Akira that anime, it made me appreaciate the anime that is available in the USA althought limited. now i am just hook in anime althought its very expensive. well now i might be getting into this music videos too. So For me Akira is my first anime that I watched

live now cause tomorrow isn’t guarantee.(kidding)

Well, my first anime was Hellsing and I liked it very much - still do (it didn't freak me out suprisingly - I guess) but it was just a short serie and its magic didn't last long but after that seeing some Rurouni Kenshin and Tenchi things didn't yet get soo heated even though I became a fan... The anime, the one anime that changed me into a weird fanatic fangirl was Naruto!

That was all it took... that is it...

But if I think about it more, that what was my very first anime, then I should probably say that Pokemon, because it was running on tv and I saw few episodes of it... Then I didn't think about it much - I thought it was just some crappy serie but now I want all original episodes of it. If someone knows where can I find original Pokemon please tell me, nee? ^.^

Mine would probably have to be Dragonball, stuff like Tenchi and Outlaw Star.
