I'm thinking that each one of them had one parent in common, which would explain the eye color. The other differences such height, and <.ahem.> "body proportions" can be explained by the possible difference in the 2nd parent. For example, while it is safe to assume that the three are all the same age, Karen seems, as Omni pointed out, "less developed" than Mina which can probably be explained by a difference in parentage. Or it could be the other way around, with Mike being the odd man out, due to his being male and both Karen and Mina are approximately the exact same height.
Also, on the issue of twins, before somebody starts arguing about how Mike and Mina don't look too closely alike, it is likely that they are Fraternal twins, which are two children born during the same pregnancy term, but are markedly different due to them originating from seperate eggs and sperm. What I'm geting at is that when the mother was ovulating, she ovulated two eggs instead of the normal one and each of those eggs got fertilized by a seperate sperm, which accounts for those differences in height, gender, etc. This is opposed to identical twins which are the result of one egg dividing into two seperate but identical embryos after conception. This is why you can never have male and female Identical twins but you can have male and female Fraternal twins.
