After watching it on the site, I did a search on my computer for .mov files and I found where it was cached/downloaded temporarily on my computer. I just copied the file to another folder for future watching, without all the downloading again...

So I guess all of you are comfortable with the fact that The Matrix raped
anime? Blatantly stole from it? Or have none of you watched GITS or
Cowboy Bebop?!

These trailers are done by famous Anime/Animation companies. If they don't have a problem with it, I don't see why we fans should have a problem with it.

I can't get it to download either. I think I'm missing a quicktime plugin or somesuch. :/

umm, the guys who made this thing are the same guys that made those shows. Pretty much ever big name animator in Japan with the exception of Mizaki worked on some part of it. I know for sure the same guys who did Bebop did, not sure about GITS though. And how can you steal anime? Anime is just a very broad term for animation that comes from Japan. Just like the term "american movies" means movies that come from America. Actually, now that I read what you said over again, I really have no idea what the hell youre talking about.

How do either of those even relate in the least way to The Matrix? :?

Second Reinesance is well worth the DL. So I geuss these are going ot give a sort of history to how the world reached it's state in The Matrix.

I was referring to the original Matrix movie and how it ripped off GITS and
CB.

How?

Hey, they ADMIT that there was influence from anime. In the Times magazine (forgot which one) there's a little section with all their influences, and yes Ghost in the Shell is one of them.

But, that doesn't mean they COPIED it. Besides, many of the directors are straight from the anime production world, hence why they are doing Animatrix in the first place.

So if you think it's a rip off then fine, don't watch it. Just don't complain while the rest of us have a good time watching it.
