I guess it was Sailor Moon and DBZ the got me in. I do remember watching G-Force, Samurai Pizza Cats, and Speed Racer. I think what drew me in further were these three anime shorts that Cartoon Network showed a few years ago. I forgot the name of the first two shorts, but the third one was called "Twilight of the Cockroaches".

well....way back when I was about 12ish years old, there was this mini-series on USA named "The Red Planet" or something to the effect, never could remebr what it was. had this cute little furry aliean that at the end of the show turned into a huge alien that saved the main characte's life. Anyway, when I first saw it I thought it was the single most coolest concept ever, of having animation that was clooser to real life then to "looney tunes." Never did see anything else like it until I moved out to Michigan my freshman year of high school. found a friend who was into Invader Zim (And Johhny the Homicidel Maniac). I liked that show, and through him I discovered the wonderful world of anime and AMV making. The first DVD I ever owned and sebsequently bought was Ah! My Goddess OVA series.

hmmmm...that's a tough one. I used to watch Sailor Monn when I was about...9...maybe 10. Then Cartoon Network took it off the air. I didn't know it was anime back then. A few years later, I started watching Yu-gi-oh and then dug deeper into it and found out it was anime, got hooked on Japanese shows...and it's history from there.

I think watching certain cartoons as a kid, it's no wonder some turned out to be anime. When I was little, I watched stuff like Sailor Moon, Megaman (funny, 'cuz I'm a girl...), and Pokemon. Two years ago when I saw a lot of people in my school carrying manga, I picked one up at the bookstore, and realized "hey, I like this stuff! Since then, I pick up every manga I can get my hands on, and watch as much anime as possible!
