Okay, this is somewhat related to the discussion about strongest fighters. I saw this new fighting anime called Air Master. The character designs are pretty crazy/weird and the plot is not very understandable yet, but the fighting action it has is animated pretty well and I found the music catchy. The following is taken from the Animenfo.com description:

Aikawa Maki, 16 years old, is a first year senior high school student known as the Air Master. An invicible street fighter. Most of the time, she is just like a normal girl but she's a different person when she's out in the streets.

Once a gymnast of Japan, Maki is now establishing and reviving the legend of "airborne street fighting" as an Air Master. A fighting style based on one's jumping strength and movement while airborne. So she can once again feel the excitement of being a gymnast, she seeks the strongest opponents to battle.

The main character is a rather atypical fighter despite what you might think by reading the above description. First of all, she's like a 6 foot- something red-haired anime girl who looks more like a basketball player than a gymnast. She towers over most of the other characters and her opponents. I thought it was pretty interesting that her first opponent was 'Lucha' a Mexican wrestling champion who specialized in aerial wrestling moves. His impassioned speech about why he fights seemed like something comedic you would hear a fighting game character say. But it was so emphatic it makes you unsure if you're supposed to be laughing at it or inspired by it. It was odd to say the least.

In any case, this is the only other fighting anime that I know of other than Ayane's High Kick (Which I've never seen) where the main character is an ambitious female fighter. Most people don't seem to have a very good first impression of Air Master, but it's pretty different so I'm keeping an eye on it.

Too bad his master, Hiko Seijirou, could kick the crap out of him without even breaking a sweat. IIRC Kenshin couldn't even touch Hiko while they were sparring.

heh heh heh, yea' son, YEEAAHHH!!! The Chinese Connection was sweeeeet, and so were most of bruce's other movies because he (bruce) was never a sell out, he did things the way he wanted and didn't hollywood it up
