Crap an anime that actually gave me a black out!

This was a complete surprise to me. I was watching Scryed on my computer (only about 3-5 feet away from screen) when I got around to the 7th episode (watched 6episodes straight *which is norm for me) and all of a sudden my eyes started to hurt then the next thing I new I hit my head on my computer desk and came to. It was only for 2 or 3 seconds but damn it was a first for me. I guess it was time for me to go outside. Anyone ever have this/something like this happen to them?

I didn't even think Scryed was that flashy compared to other anime but goes to show my sub concious *Sp? knows more then I do.

Yeah, this has happened to me a few times, most of the time this is caused by sitting for long periods and then trying to stand up too quickly or stretching, this causes a temporary loss of circulation of blood to the brain resulting in temporary unconsciousness and disorientation. Bottom line "it's probably not Anime related". Just try taking regular breaks to stretch out.

Dai-guard has a safety warning before each episode. It says something like: Caution Safety Priority One: When watching TV, please light up the room as much as possible and watch from as far away as feasible.

most anime now carries that warning, because of the whole pokemon incident i believe.

what pokemon incident?

by all rights i probably should of passed out, i sit pretty close to monitor, and in completly pitch black room..
But actually, not only doesn't it make me pass out it kills any headaches i got from work or anything..

I think the pokemon incident he is refferring to is, in an episode either porygon or pikachu( i forget) Started flashing rapidly and some children sitting in dark rooms had seizures.

This happend to me once too. I was having a FLCL-athon and had just pollished off a 1litre bottle of Sake. I was such a hopeless nerd back then.
