Someone tell me what the hell goes on at "panels" at anime cons before I have to murder a random person.

A panel is a flat and often narrow piece of some material, frequently wood. It is affixed to walls in lieu of paper or paint. The use of paneling can easily and inexpensively mask damaged/disfigured walls while giving a room a clean, open, even feeling.

A panel consists of a number of buttons and switches, like the one for a nuclear silo infront of me.

An AMV panel is suppose to be a Q&A about how to make AMVs. Usually it turns into a bunch of creators showing their videos.
