In most other movies, you would miss out on some critical information, plot, or experience. That said, DOA isn't like those described movies. Perhaps you may not, but I certainly didn't miss anything particularly essential or enjoyable, the majority of the script could've been collapsed into half an hour.
How would you know? You haven't watched it.

The fact still remains, you haven't watched the movie, so how could you possible know what you claim? YOUR LOGIC IS FLAWED. You can't know everything is non-sense if you don't watch it all. Your own claims flaw your statements.

Here's the thing, you don't have to watch everything to know something is not worth watching. You don't have to have perfect information to make your decision. Sometimes, as with this movie, some information is all that is required.

You're making assumptions of a 90 minute movie based on just few minutes, and not even a straight few minutes, but scattered bits. Imagine doing that with any film... every film would look to have no story and seem to suck.

You don't have legitimate argument for your claim that the movie is bad. You never watcehd it, you only glanced at it. Even the ugliest people can look attractive after a quick glance, that doesn't mean they are.

Catch my drift? Cause we seem to be going in circles, so you obviously don't comprehend what I'm saying.

AH HAH! The chosen point of view...

If I'm not paying, I'd go see the movie [lol]

I'm a Dead or Alive fan, first for the fanservice [come on, who isn't], but if you break down the characters (the ones that actually matter), there's quite a nicely chronological setup that could easily span AT LEAST a 12 ep OAV. Cut scenes and some BG info on the characters that matter [again, the ninjas and possibly the chinese couple of Jan lee and Lei fang], would make a good series.

But from what I've read, they loosely [ok, not at all duh*], used the source material. Ok, Christie, best use of OFF CHARACTER movie choice ever. Hayate's character choice was said to be perfect. [as in Raul Julia as Bison perfect ^_^]

But I want to see Raidou rape Ayame *heh*, I wanna see Hayate get dumped into the Black Forest after getting the DNA beat outta him. I want to see Kasumi sex doll clones fighting and losing. Alpha 151, I wanna see Jan Lee look at Lei Fang as a sex symbol and not some damsel in distress...

I need to see Helena's mom get shot *ack*, would like to see etc. etc. etc....

The games only give TINY glimpses of what happens to the whole picture and I probably could write the damn script myself. *yes I love the series THIS MUCH*. But NOOOOOO, the proven previews/reviews tell me that they strayed away from the cool story of the games and uh, farked it?

I'm a true fan of the DoA series and after knowing the games, and reading the reviews, I can say it's a bad movie before ever seeing it. What I want to see [and like to see] has been proven by other truthful sources that IT'S NOT IN THERE...

I don't know if Lyrs is a DOA fan or not but I think it CAN be fair to say you think the movie's garbage without actually seeing it.

If people tell you it's not what you want to see, and they're not lying hopefully, then yes, it's garbage.

But I WILL sit through the torture and treat it like a fight boobs flick, NOT as part of DoA *hell, Hitomi was cast as a Man according to a moviegoer, ick*

So there ya go.

When I heard that a DOA movie was coming out I was so HAPPY I love DOA... then one say I was at work (work at a movie theater) and I saw a preview and they totally RUINED IT!!!. ALL about the chicks and Tina & Christie (pretty sure christie) HAVE SEX....the guys are barely even in it and the only asain person they have is Kasumi and the only one with the right color hair is Tina (of course cause shes blonde) and Ayane the whole thing sucks but I'll watch it anyway...but yes I think it should of been a CG movie as well..oh and also i saw that someone likes that they are making movies about comics and games well me too but thats ALL anyone is doing anymore and they usually end up ruining the games (like Silent Hill and DOA)

They don't have sex... and its not all about the girls.

The commercials are about the girls, but then the commercials fro the games are always about the girls, too, but they're just commercials. The plot of the film follows the tournament being used to calculate the best fighting styles to create one better, as well as the experiment with Kasumi's brother. Kasumi only leaves to search for her brother, who is presumed dead. They two girls wind up in bed together because one is being harrassed by someone else, they don't have sex or anything...

... seriously... does anyone WATCH movies anymore?

I think people watch movies if they want to, not cause someone tells them they absolutely must...

Ended up being one of those "so horribly bad it's a good comedy" movies.
