Post by XHunter » Thu Aug 23, 2007 12:20 am

Title: Rockman.Exe - Bodies
Time: 4 min 20 sec
Footage: BN3, EXE, Axess, Stream, EXE Movie, Beast, Beast+
Song Artist: Sonata Arctica, Drowning Pool
Song Title: Of Silence, Bodies

[ Link ] - Rockman.Exe Bodies

WARNING!
Video Contains footage which may cause harm to people with Epilepsy.
Watch at your own risk.

[ Note ] It was made in Vegas 6 and Compressed in Window Movie Maker because I really didn't have the time to tinker with codecs to get the best quality for a good compression rate (I'm really picky about Quality and Compression). Yes, yes, I know. I should never use WMM to do the job of VirtualDub but in this case, I was simply lazy >.>" *Bricked*

By "footage that may cause seizures to those with epilepsy" you mean it has mindless flashing don't you?

To put it simply, yes. At the start of the AMV there is a fastforward / blur effect. I'm just being careful and giving a heads up in case that does happen.

Well let's say an epileptic loved megaman. he gets all excited and come into this topic. then Sees he can no longer watch this video for fear of his physical well being. you have no dashed the hopes and dreams of one young epileptic person.

Now. I have given you enough bullshit, so I figure I might as well DL your vid.

yeah the only thing of this AMV that could hurt your eyes (if you are sensible) is that fast foward with blur effect part, other than that it isn't flashy (meaning it doesn't have white flashes everywhere lol)

errrr... *copy + paste*

"ok first I must say that I was expecting more from you X. The AMV is flawless in Beat Synch and Internal synch, some scenes didn't fit the lyrics though, but yeah I was expecting something more than just random action.

About the editing, as I said synch looked prety flawless, but I still don't like how you edited until the first chorus :/, loved the second chorus though . The TV thing got bored after a while though, liek you should have made something different for the intro of the second chorus.

Overall not bad, but I couldn't get into it, I still preffer your Tourniquet AMV better.

3.5/5."

also I will add that this AMV will surelly be eye-candy for people that like the anime and insane action parts :P

oh and if you can... can you please compress a .mp4?, I think you still should have the loosless file of the AMV, right? XD. Or at least a XviD, I want this AMV with higher quality in my PC for my Rockman AMVs folder :P.

Win:

- The 1,2,3,4 Part was best, what I really liked was that you were the first one to synch that Noise in the audio there which just seems to be ignored by everyone.

- Some Nice Action synch and decent Flow (especially in the Chorus and once again..the 1,2,3,4 part)

Phail:

- Visual Quality: lots of annoying macroblocking, fuzzyness, Black Borders which should have been cropped, WMV

- Audio Quality: Sounded like ass. Extremly cracky and fuzzy

- the logo on the right, it was too big and distracting

- You did hit SAME Beats in parts while you ignored them in other parts of the Video.

- Overused Song and Concept (random)

- Don't warn for Epilepsy shit if theres no reason for :/

conclusion:

Make a proper Encode and it would be a decent Video, if you don't..I will hunt you in your dreams.
