would it be amv materbation if I chose myself?? lol I made my first amv without seeing any amvs before hand. The only one I saw was live action.

but anyway. If you were here before 2001 than your answer would probably be Engel as the top 10 was displayed on the main page. Aaah those were the days

I think I got this off of napster or something,

it was pretty good.

I guess I always sought out comedy videos.

(my biggest ambition was to win a Northern Lights Award because of DokiDoki)

The First Video i ever saw was

on the Connichi 2003 and i only said "omg its great" and after this contest i began to watch videos and after a year i began to make AMVs by myself.

hmmmcan't remember exactly....some youtube video..maybe a naruto or dbz linkin park mix...maybe it was to a rap song :|

Ted Cooper's (Rogue Studio) Evangelion AMV to The Final Countdown.

According to the file's properties, I downloaded it in 1998 and IIRC it was from one of those 'anime clip sites' that used to be around 'back in the day.' I remember them all being shut down a year later though. OLD SCHOOL.

I still think the video is better than 90% of the stuff released today even though it was made with VCRs. :)
