Premiere Pro CS3 doesn't import clips

yeah I tried to import both episodes and clips, but every time I do an error message comes out saying that some files are damaged and that some's format is not supported. This is very strange, as my sony vegas can easily import them without problems. What can I do?

They're mpeg-1...

It's possible they're encoded weirdly, and Premiere's MPEG-1 decoder doesn't like them.

yeah but I also have avi episodes and it says that most of them are damaged =(

Perhaps you might be trying to import some compressed file? Never use XViD or DivX or such to edit. Try to convert your files to uncompressed/lossless and see if that works. That will require quite some space, but that's the best solution on most PCs.
