Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Gundam AMV

Post by GenocideX6 » Sun Jan 06, 2008 5:29 pm

Well, to be honest this isn't much different from the last one I made, but it's only my second attempt at making an AMV. I worked much harder on it than my first, and I think it turned out a bit better. But hey, what do I know.

Any opinions, harsh criticism, and advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

HOLY SHIT! u used almost all the gundam series even SD!! LOL
aww i noticed Gundam Evolve and MS Igloo is left out but its all good.
Since i'm a huge Gundam fan, I don't have any major complaints on video editing wise. i just wished the video didnt jerk so much and of course make the quality better. :o

may be helpfull :)
My apologies. Thanks for the heads up.

As for the jerky quality, it was a pretty big dissapointment to me as well. It's especially noticeable near the start because I compressed and converted a lot of the clips. Thanks for the comments though, I'll definitely try to improve on my next project.

I couldnt really get into this video =/ I am a gundam fan but still I couldnt get into the video.

the song was annoying and the jerky quality got on my nerves. the editing its self was ok.

Gundam!? Must watch might edit later.

Edit: hmm idk >.< part of the vid I thought were alright and other parts idk...yea there was a big jerking motion in parts of the video (you are still learningso it is cool).Another technical note would be the AR in your video constantly changes. If you use the guides often here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... atios.html
Keep at it.

It's the most popular anime series out there. There are over 20 series made from it.
