a few of the story arcs in mononoke deal with women getting the short end of the stick - but i guess only a few scenes in the last episode would work in an amv due to the art style of the show.

The first arc of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni shows a man beating a couple women to death with a baseball bat.

Fruits basket has some good scenes but not many.

Solty Rei has what your looking for, for sure... but its more of a father / daughter relationship kinda thing.

I'm guessing scrapped Princess has alot but its not just 1 guy its like EVERYONE cept her "family" and a few friends she meets along the way.

Actually, the main characters usually get beaten down quite a few times, most visually in the first episode, where Merielle gets smacked around and restrained approaching one of the goons. There's other examples here and there.

Gankutsuou has some scenes that would work as well.
