So yeah..been awhile since I made an amv JUST for me, first one in the past 2 years probably....so uh, hate it, love it, be somewhere in between the 2, i dont give a damn O:

Looked pretty tight though man.
The style got a lil repetitive but it was very kewl.
It felt diff then most FLCL vids out their. You used clips that most ppl stay away from but you made it look tight.

Congratulations. This is (as far as I know) the first time I've seen an editor I like take an anime I love and put it to music I enjoy and make a really bad video. I don't want to sound like (too much of) an asshole, but that was way, way, WAY oversynched. It literally gave me a headache (and I was watching it in a well-lit room). For God's sake, it's a relatively slow song. I shouldn't be able to say that an AMV set to a slow song can give me a headache. The editing was just not fitting in any way, shape, or form.

On top of this, I couldn't see any real concept. I've seen FLCL more times than I can count and I still can't figure out what's going on. Plus, thanks to the seizure-like sync, I absolutely don't want to watch it again to try and figure it out.

I mean, MAYBE if you had thought of something more creative than just fade-outs, or if you'd at least cut down the beat sync after the intro, I could find some redeeming quality in here. But besides the video quality (which is admittedly top-notch), this video is just not good at all.

Yeah, like I said in the first post, I made this amv solely for me..so I'm not really expecting many people to like it. I have weird taste sometimes

oh, I will disagree with you on one thing though sky, this song doesn't seem calm to me at all..accept in 1 spot, but yeah, you're probably right about everything else

I have to totally agree with CrackTheSky on this one.. The way you faded scenes from 100% to 0% all so suddenly just ruined it, especially considering the song you used really didn't call for this kind of editing and what you tried to do with it.
Also basic mistakes ftl, there was a poopy frame at 01:59 and some frame-that-came-from-nowhere at 01:05- not sure if there are more but I don't find it interesting enough to rewatch in search of technical mistakes.
Generally seemed like a few-hour work that would have been done better with either completely different editing or a different song. Didn't do it for me.
